EUROSPEAK follows the guidelines of the European privacy legislation (GDPR/AVG).

What personal data do we collect?
All data we collect is in the context of our courses. You are free to decide what information you give to us. If you provide us with your data or testimonial, we will assume that you give your consent to be included in our database.

1.1. Data we collect directly:
identification: surname, first name, national registration number, if necessary, and address; contact data: telephone number, fax number, email address; 
billing data: bank account number, billing name and address, possibly VAT number or company number; In case you are a trainer-coach and apply or start working with us: your curriculum vitae, letter of motivation and recommendation

your photo, video, teaching material you provide evaluation forms of your students

1.2. Public data and data we collect indirectly: This may include, for example, data that is subject to a publication requirement or data that you have made public yourself, such as information on your website.

1.3. What you tell us may be processed: If you contact us by telephone, reception may make a note of your first name and surname, your telephone number and your email address to create a contact overview. During a screening or language class, the coordinator and/or language trainer-coach will write down information that is useful for your lessons.

Why do we collect your personal data?
Your data are necessary to correctly fulfil the training agreement you or your company concludes with us. Our assignment consists of language screening and/or language training, language coaching and guidance, including the coordination and administration that this assignment entails. If you are a supplier, we save your data to correctly submit, follow up and process orders. If you are a language trainer-coach, we save your data as a part of our selection and recruitment procedure and for communication and support during your assignments. We do not use fully automated processes regarding the processing of your personal data. The processing of your personal data does not include profiling. If we wish to use your personal data or testimonial as a reference, we will ask for your explicit consent to do so.

Who receives your personal data?
Within our organisation, your personal data is only accessible to responsible persons who need to access the data in relation to their duties. We have developed security measures adapted technically and organisationally to avoid the destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, access by unauthorised persons or inadvertent disclosure to third parties of collected personal data as well as any other unauthorised processing of your data.
Some of the personal data we process from you may be disclosed to third parties:

– accountants and consultants in the context of tax support;
- ICT service providers in the context of our processing software;
- providers of e-learning applications in the context of your learning process
-audit firm in the context of renewing/maintaining our quality label and/or recognition with sectoral funds;
- social secretariat and interim offices in the context of collaboration as trainer-coach or staff member;
- competent public authorities within the framework of our legal obligations;
- to your clients/colleagues in the context of an ongoing tender or teaching assignment to make practical arrangements or as a reference. Your personal data will not be made commercially available to third parties except as described above or with your prior consent. On rare occasions, we may be required to disclose your personal data pursuant to a court order or to comply with other mandatory laws or regulations.

How long will your personal data be stored?
Your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in point 2. Usually this is a period of 1 to 5 years. Naturally, we will store your personal data in accordance with possible legally mandatory periods and any limitation periods that may be in place.

What rights can you exercise to guarantee the protection of your personal data?
Your data are processed by EUROSPEAK SA, with its registered office at 49 rue de Stassart, 1050 BRUSSELS, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under the number 0447.843.555 and EUROSPEAK METODIKA ANTWERPEN GP, with its registered office at 2018 ANTWERPEN, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under the number 0885.037.797. If there are any changes to your personal data (such as name, address, email address…), please let us know. If you believe that we process certain personal data illegally, i.e. without having a proper purpose for doing so, you can ask to have your personal data deleted or to restrict its processing. If your personal data are processed based on your consent (see point 2), you can withdraw your consent at any time. We will then have to delete your personal data.

In addition, we inform you that you may at any time lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that we are not respecting your rights as listed above.
